Well done, Cover To Cover 📚 🌟

Bought this wonderful book for a gift, and I was tempted to keep it for myself!
It's written for children, but to me, the messages are just as important for adults to hear.( No matter which persuasion, or if you choose to live binary .)
Ofcourse, this one is aimed at “girls“, but the author wrote one called, “ Dear Boy“, as well.
The illustrations are very cute,too!

This is such an enjoyable book!
The characters are so interesting , and relateable.
The whole story is so sad and sweet.
Even the cover on this edition is beautiful, just love the bright, and quirky illustration.

If you enjoy reading about suspense, murder, and complicated family secrets, this is a book for you!
I always enjoy books written by this talented author, and this is another great read. Couldn't put it down!
Even though I figured out some parts before they were revealed, I couldn't see how it was going to end.
And it was a bit of a shocker!!!!

“The moment was so beautiful and perfect....But it didn't feel like it belonged to me,not in any permanent sense. *Happy was my adopted country,not my native land*. I was still bracing to be expelled without warning.“
The main character has depression, and this * is particularly poignant.
It expresses a part of what anyone who suffers from symptoms of some mental illnesses feel. The inadequacy, sadness, and being overwhelmed.

Enjoying this book soooooo much!
It's one of those good ones, you start reading, and next thing you know, you've read 100 pages, in what feels like only 5 minutes!

Did not disappoint!
So impressed with this author's talent to write consistently well about totally different subjects!
She always creates such interesting characters, and settings .
This book sure had some twists at the end...literally on the last page!

So very excited to have gotten these books!
But this was the day, the news came out that a mandatory close of all non-essential stores had been issued 😪 So sad that I will miss actually visiting my favorite store owner/store!
But totally respect that announcement!We have to keep everyone safe!

Got to start the new book-into first 100 pages, and loving it!
Always worry that I might not remember the storyline,(it's been 2 years since the last installment in this series).
But kudos to Mr.Riggs it flows along easily, and you feel right at home with all his peculiars:)

Sorry, think this pic is showing sideways....there were lots of phrases that stuck with me from this book,(BTW, it's a good read).
But this one was interesting to ponder.

How did I not know about this being released?!!
Please no one hate on me, I mostly try to support small (second hand), bookstores , but this is one of my fave series!!!!
So I splurged at Wally World....it's close enough to my b.day😁(in 2 months)!

This author has a great feel for her characters, especially teens.
Don't worry, it's not just a sad story, it's a strong murder mystery,too!

This is a great murder mystery!
Has great, believable, current characters that add to the interest.
It is the first book in a series though, just a heads up :)
I really lucked out and got the first 3 in the series at my fave bookstore,(C, you know who you are- you're the best),all thanks to the recommendation from a stranger!
